MX and DNS record update
To use Outlook Anywhere Hosted Exchange, you need to make two changes to your Domain Name's DNS settings:
- Add a CNAME of autodiscover pointing to autodiscoverredirect.thevirtualcloud.com
This is so Outlook can connect to your mailbox quicker and automatically.
- Change your MX record to point to mailgate.thevirtualcloud.com
If you have any other MX records delete them, if you're asked for a Preference number, enter 10.
We will contact you when it's time to change these settings after you sign up.
If you need help changing your DNS or MX records, contact your Domain Name or web hosting provider.
