Protect your data with Amanda!

Files on servers can easily get corrupted, deleted or lost – having safe and reliable data backups is essential. The recoverably of your data can ensure the survival of your business if disaster strikes.

We run the Amanda backup suite of software, with agents for Windows, Linux, and Solaris servers. Backups are saved to our Storage Area Network, ensuring a quick and error-free backup, and speedy restores in the event recovery is needed.

Virtual Tape Rotation

Our standard backup set is a “10 tape” rotation, giving 5 incremental backups (Mon-Thu), 3 weekly full backups (Fri: week 1, week 2, week 3), and 3 monthly full backups (Fri: month 1, month 2, month 3). Each virtual tape is 10GB, giving 100GB total backup space. Upgrades are available to 20GB, 50GB, and 100GB virtual tapes.

Backup Policy

When we setup your backups, we ask what directories you wish including within the policy for your server. If you need to change the directories included (or excluded) at any time, simply raise a support ticket with us.
