Costs

• £40 per month for a mATX server slot.
• £32 per month for a 1U rack slot.

Zero (£0) setup fee is charged on standard configurations, a setup fee may be charged for non-standard requests.

Power Presentation

• 1A power is included in the price.
• Extra power is available for £22 per month per Amp up to the maximum for your server.

Each rack has its own APC UPS, providing local protection for your servers. Each single server will have access to 1 UK 3-pin socket included in the price, extra sockets are available for £5 per month.

Low Latency Network - Unlimited Bandwidth

Built with the help of two local gaming clans (who colocate with us at the Sheffield Data Centre already), the Low Latency Network is a dedicated network within the Sheffield Data Centre. Logically it's the closest to the edge routers and comes with NO QOS or BANDWIDTH LIMITING.

Unlike our regular colocation which either includes or has optional dedicated bandwidth, the Low Low Latency Network is connected to the internet in multiples of 10Mbit, bustable when capacity is near max and managed by us.

Because the Low Latency Network has no traffic shaping, QOS or management, latency is typically reduced to under 35ms - ideal for game servers. It's not the speed of the connection, but how quick the packets get to us which can determine wether you win or loose in a game!

IP Addresses

• We give you 1 public IP Addresses per server.
• Extra IP addresses are available in blocks of 8 for £10 per month.

If you require more than 64 IP Addresses this may require further information and justification to RIPE. We will advise you if this is the case.

Remote Hands

We know servers sometimes have problems, that’s why we’re on hand if you need us! We include 15 minutes of Remote Hands time daily with each server. Extra Remote Hands time is available for just £30 per hour (minimum 30 minutes).
