Zero (£0) setup fee is charged on standard configurations, a setup fee may be charged for non-standard requests.

1U Firewall slot - £20 per month

Only for 1U firewalls or switches, we can supply discounted 1U slots for just £20 per month. No bandwidth allowance, max power 0.5A.

Power Presentation & Redundancy

• 1A (230W) power is included in the price.
  Extra power is available for £22 per month per Amp up to a maximum of 4 Amps.
• 1 UK 3-pin power socket is included in the price.
  Extra power sockets are available for £2.50 per month.
• Most single servers only use ~0.6A under normal load.

Each rack has its own APC UPS, providing local protection for your servers. The onsite diesel generator provides backup power in the unlikely event of a utility (mains) power outage.

Bandwidth

There are three options for bandwidth: Fixed Speed, Inclusive Allowance or Unmetered.

Bandwidth is allocated per-server and may not be aggregated across multiple servers.

Fixed bandwidth

• 5Mbit fixed speed bandwidth for just £50 per month!
• Add more dedicated bandwidth in multiples of 5Mbit for the same price.
• Unlimited throughput.
• Reporting available.
• Gigabit presentation.
• Dedicated bandwidth is ideal if you need unlimited capacity at a certain speed, or if you need guaranteed capacity.

Inclusive Allowance Bandwidth

• Either 1 Terrabyte (1024GB), 2 Terrabyte (2048GB), or 3 Terrabyte (3072GB) transfer.
• Gigabit presentation.
• Up to 100Mbit burst.
• Reporting available.

If you go over your allowance, we will inform you and ask you monitor your usage. If you continue to exceed your allowance, we reserve the right to charge you £0.20p for each additional Gigabyte transferred, or move you onto the next inclusive bandwidth option.

Unmetered Bandwidth

• No billing for throughput.
• Gigabit presentation.
• Up to 100Mbit burst.
• Reporting available.
• Fair usage applies.*

*We think our Fair Usage policy is fair. During peak times, or when the network is saturated by an individual connection, we may traffic shape or throttle throughput to ensure a fair service to all our customers. In fairness we won't charge extra or suspend the connection. Traffic shaping is done automatically by our Bandwidth Management Servers.

IP Addresses

• We give you 2 public IP Addresses per server.
• Extra IP addresses are available in blocks of 8 for just £10 per month.

If you require more than 64 IP Addresses this may require further information and justification to RIPE. We will advise you if this is the case.

We know servers sometimes have problems, that’s why we’re on hand if you need us! We include 15 minutes of Remote Hands time daily with each full rack. Extra Remote Hands time is available for just £35 per hour (minimum 30 minutes).

Where did the gaming network go?

At the end of 2010, we changed how we allocate bandwidth on the core network. As a result a dedicated Low Latency Network was no longer required. We still have a seperate switch for gaming servers, so if you're wanting to colocate a game server with us - let us know and we'll make sure you're plugged into the right place!
